Tournament Rules

The ePredict.com tournaments are based on the following criteria. Each survey question is weighted equally and is worth one point. The results for a month are not based on the questions asked during that month, but rather the results of survey questions that close in that time period. For example, if on April 2nd we ask a question such as, "How do you rate Microsoft over the next month", then that result expires May 2nd. That question will be judged in the tournament for May and not the month of April.

Monthly contests end on the last official trading day of the month.

 Winners

The winner of each tournament will be the member who has the highest percentage of correct predictions for that time period. Each contestant must have at least 10 points for the monthly contest. A point is awarded when correctly predicting if a stock will go up or down. Though surveys are available 24 hours a day, due to the timely nature of investment information, only those surveys completed between 10am to 3am (PST) on the day of the survey will display in your personal scorecard and count in the member's tournament. "No opinion" or "Hold" answers to survey questions will not score any points but also will not be totaled or included as part of the percentages. This way "no opinion" answers to questions will not hurt contestants.

In the event of a tie, the tiebreaker will be decided in the following order of importance.

1. The person with the most points.

2. The person who has answered the most questions over the last 6 months.

3. The person who has sponsored the most people to date.

4. If we still have a tie among two or more players, the member who joined ePredict first wins.

Good luck to everyone. Remember to answer all the questions each day to the best of your ability and your chances of success are greater.

 Legalese

Each participant is participating on their own free will and is subject to all applicable local, state and federal taxes. This contest is only available in jurisdictions that allow this type of contest. All prizes will be mailed within 30 days of award announcement.

ePredict reserves the right to change these rules at any time without notice.

ePredict reserves the right to discontinue this contest at any time without prior notice.
